Deputies & DPS Troopers chase stolen vehicle

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Deputies with the Bee County Sheriff's Office and DPS Troopers were involved in a chase involving a stolen car.

The incident happened around 5 pm on Saturday in the San Patricio St. Paul area.

According to San Patricio Sheriff Oscar Rivera, officers chased a white car and the vehicle crashed along County Road 714.

One man bailed out while a female passenger was taken into custody by deputies.

The man was captured by DPS in a nearby brush area.

The car was reported stolen from Corpus Christi.Sheriff Rivera stated the man also had warrants based out of San Patricio County.
