CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Is there a body buried in the backyard of a Pharoah Valley home?
It's a question that the residents of that home hope police will soon answer for them.
Roy Tyler says he and his wife have lived at that home in the 1300 block of Nile Drive for about three weeks.
They were recently doing some yard work when they found what appeared to be a grave.
Markings on the structure show a date of Jan. 3, 1971.
"I really wasn't upset but it was stunning that they would do this through the VA, coming out and checking everything and then selling the home without knowing it was on the property,” Tyler said. “My first time buying a home and it's a big shock to me. I've never seen this in my life.”
The couple says police planned to be out there today to investigate the alleged grave site.
