CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 31st Corpus Christi Half Marathon took place this weekend.
"Corpus Christi's biggest and best half marathon and Relay race," their event page says.
This year, runners competed in a solo 10k or 5k, 2 person relays, or the Clydesdales/Athena division for men over 200 pounds and women over 175 pounds. Prizes were awarded for top three male and female competitors in every five-year age category. Our very own Jeff Dubrof took third place in his age category.
Cheerleaders and four disc jockeys were there to pump up runners on the course.
