CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you made your way to the beach, you probably noticed all the traffic en route.
It's something city leaders are hoping to change.
Today, traffic was busy. But it didn’t look too bad at the traffic light on Park Road 22 and Aquarius Street.
Police put out cones and monitored traffic flow.
Many have complained about this traffic light in particular, saying it stops drivers too frequently, which causes traffic to be backed up.
And in some cases, that jam stretches all the way to the JFK Causeway.
City manager Peter Zanoni says, he's meeting with other city leaders to discuss ways to resolve the issue.
