CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Saharan dust plume that is moving through the area is why the city canceled its health initiative this morning.
Unhealthy air quality led to the postponement of the "Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront" program.
The city doesn't recommend any outdoor activities while the dust plume is around.
They tell us they will try to hold another "Safe Fun-Fit at the Bayfront" again in two weeks.
