A countywide early Spring Cleaning project is set for this weekend.
Nueces Co. Precinct 4 Commissioner Brent Chesney is sponsoring a tire cleanup event in Flour Bluff.
In past years, hundreds of tires have been collected, and Chesney is hoping for the same results or better.
This Saturday, a trailer will be set up at the Ronnie Polston county building on Compton Road.
Workers will begin accepting tires at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., or until the trailer is full.
