CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local tea shop is putting on their third annual Frida Fest in honor of Frida Kahlo, a famous artist.
According to Communitea's Facebook event, "On her birthday and death week, join us in celebrating the life of Frida Kahlo, an artist whose works were inspired by nature and artifacts of Mexico. She is remembered for her boldness of using vibrant colors in her art. She had passion for life and embraced her Mexican Culture. Lets celebrate that!"
There will be Frida inspired art, crafts, entertainment, and food.
Compete in the Frida look-alike contest for cash prizes.
This event takes place from 4pm to 8 pm Sunday, July 7, at Water Street Village.
This event is free an open to the public.
