CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — A man is thankful to a couple of Corpus Christi police officers who helped him find his envelope full of cash.

Police say drivers called 911 after seeing a man walking along Highway 44 and US 77 around 6:50 p.m. Saturday.

Officers were told the man was seen walking in and out of traffic.

Investigators said when the man talked to officers, he told them he lost an envelope full of cash after walking to a convenience store and he couldn't find it.

CCPD officers decided to help the man find the envelope full of cash and spent more than 30 minutes looking for the envelope.

The search was over when one of the CCPD officers found the envelope full of cash.

The relieved male was then given a ride to the hotel that he was staying at.
