CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Corpus Christi police are looking for a man who robbed a cell phone store.

The armed robbery happened around 12:20 p.m. Friday at the Metro PCS store in the 2000 block of Ayers Street, right across from the old ButterKrust building.

Lieutenant Edward Longoria, with the Corpus Christi police department, said a Hispanic male walked into the business, pulled out a handgun, and demanded cash from the employees.

After taking an unknown amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot. Police say he was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a white button-up t-shirt, wearing blue jean shorts, and he was seen wearing a facial mask.

Investigators are looking for video surveillance from other nearby businesses so they can get pictures of the suspect.
