CCPD investigates stabbing on city's southside

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are investigating a stabbing on the city's southside.

The incident was reported just after 11:30 a.m. in the 2400 block of Wind Hallow Drive, a neighborhood near Wooldridge and Rodd Field Road.

According to a witness who called 911, there was an verbal argument between three people and one person was stabbed in the stomach.

Officers were seen setting up crime-scene tape around the home where the incident occurred.

Investigators are still at the scene.
