ROCKPORT, Texas — If you live in Aransas County and have a boat you're trying to get rid of, take note.
The free vessel turn-in program is underway.
This will help you get rid of a boat without sinking or abandoning it, since that is illegal.
The drop-off site is at the Aransas County Airport in Rockport.
It runs until 4 p.m. today.
And tomorrow, it will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Only Aransas County residents are eligible.
