CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Kids at the Bethune Day Care got a very special gift Thursday morning: the gift of reading.
150 books along with a book bag were handed out to the kids at the daycare. The books all celebrate Black heritage.
The Corpus Christi AFT partnered with a group called 'First Book' to make the gift possible. The CCISD school board and the Law Firm of Herrman & Herrman also helped with the donation.
