KRIS 6 news has an update on those animals that were seized from a pet store inside the Corpus Christi Trade Center on Friday.

It turns out more than 300 animals were seized.

Over the next few days, several local veterinarians will help document each animal's condition.

The owner of the pet shop could face cruelty charges.

Animal care services raided his business after getting complaints that the animals were not being fed or cared for properly.

The seized animals included parakeets, rabbits, and one hedgehog.
