ALICE, Texas — Alice ISD officials say they have been the subject of a hack.
"We sincerely apologize for this violation of our district email system, and that it exposed our kids and families to inappropriate messages," said a post on the Alice ISD Facebook page.
According to a post from Alice Independent School District, student email accounts were compromised by a hacker and inappropriate messages were sent to students.
Officials say their technology department is working on "disabling the source."
