ROBSTOWN, Texas — Those who go to the polls will also find a multi-million dollar bond proposal on the ballot that could help address some drainage issues in Robstown.
That bond is for $9.5 million.
If the bond is approved, that money would go toward improving the drainage on Bosquez Road and Avenue J intersection, the Casa Blanca area and Belk Lane.
Any additional money would also go toward buying property to build a new administrative building.
Starting today, voters will have a say on that bond proposal.
So today, we’ll attempt to speak to the city about the need for some of these improvements.
We’ll share their thoughts with you this evening on KRIS 6 News.
Voting runs through Nov. 1.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
