The woman accused of being the getaway driver in the murder of a 13-year old Corpus Christi boy will be sentenced next week.
Back in August, Christina Trevino pleaded guilty to retaliation in connection with the January 2015 murder of Alex Torres.
Investigators say she drove her boyfriend, David Davila to the Treyway Terrace Apartments.
That’s where he reportedly planned to shoot his ex-girlfriend, but shot Torres by mistake.
Davila was tried three times for the murder.
His most recent trial ended in a hung jury back on Friday and he is now out of jail.
Meanwhile, Trevino faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
