Corpus Christi public information officer Gena Pena says the crash happened in the middle of the busy intersection.

A crash report provided to KRIS 6 News states the driver of the bus was at fault for causing the crash. As the car was traveling south on Staples, the bus turned in front of the car causing a collision the report continued.
