A photo of a mouse posted on Faceboook has led to the closure of one theater inside the 16-cinema AMC Theater complex and could lead to more problems.

On Saturday, Dina Reyes posted a photo on Facebook showing a mouse inside one of the theaters near Greenwood at SPID.

So the little critters remain at AMC Starplex theater! I think it's time they renovate cuz even the seats have tears in…

She said a friend took the photo on Saturday afternoon. KRIS 6 News spoke to that woman, who asked to remain anonymous, she said she was watching the 1 p.m. showing of “Ralph Breaks the Internet” with her daughter when she saw the mouse crawling on the wall. She said she notified staff and that they began looking for the mouse after the movie was over.

The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Health Department says it is now looking into the report. Officials also said that AMC has voluntarily closed Theater No. 10 at the facility.

Health inspectors forced the theater near Greenwood to shut down for five days in early October to clean up a mouse infestation.

The health department warned theater officials there could be more possible closures if they encountered any more issues with mice.

We’ll keep you updated on any new developments on this situation.
