The Coast Guard rescued two fishermen after their kayak capsized near Ingleside, Texas, Sunday afternoon.

Sector/Air Station Corpus Christi watchstanders received notification from the Port Aransas Police Department of an overturned kayak with two fishermen in the water.

Watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a Station Port Aransas 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boat crew.

Once on scene, both fishermen, who were unable to put on their life jackets after their kayak capsized, were located clinging to the bulkhead of a large dock at the Ingleside Energy Center.

The two fishermen along with their partially submerged kayak were transferred to the RB-M and taken back to Station Port Aransas.

No medical assistance was requested.
