Police investigate an armed robbery inside a fast-food restaurant

Corpus Christi police officers responded to a report of a robbery involving a weapon at a Westside fast-food restaurant.

The armed robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening in the 1100 block of South Port Avenue.

When police arrived at the scene, they talked to witnesses as other officers search the area around the restaurant.

After looking at surveillance video, investigators say three men walked into the restaurant and a gun was pulled out. The men fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash.
