A local non-profit organization received a big donation today.
Valero this morning presented the United Way of the Coastal Bend with a check for $1.2 million.
According to Valero’s public affairs manager, the donation was the largest ever pledged on behalf of local Valero employees.
Workers from the Three Rivers and Bill Greenhey plants give two percent or more of their annual salary toward the donation.
