This giveaway has been helping families for over 25 years. Many lined up outside the Thomas J. Henry Law Offices and spread throughout downtown. Some families even waking up and waiting in line early in the morning hours.
Henry has been going to several spots in the Coastal Bend like San Diego, Freer, and Alice helping folks who are in need.
Thomas J. Henry says he understands how not everyone’s situation is not the same.
“I know what it’s like, to live off a budget and then the budget runs out, and then be down to negative amounts of money so for me I really understand that so no matter how far I’ve come along in my life that’s why I do this,” Henry says.
The many people who received a free turkey say they are thankful and appreciate Thomas J. Henry for giving back to his community.
“He gives back that’s the one thing I like he helps the community he tries to do things for the community he’s just not another one of those people who making money and doing everything he’s actually someone who cares and that’s what we need right here right now. Elaine Villarreal says.
