Aransas Pass Police have arrested a man suspected of burglarizing vehicles in the Windy Shores subdivision area.
Approximately 9 vehicles were broken into on Tuesday, and police say one of the victims was able to locate a stolen computer using the device’s GPS. The victim also saw the burglary suspect use the device to log into his Facebook account.

Police used this information to track down 18-year-old Peter Unger, and were able to recover the stolen computer and some of the other victim’s property.
During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, police also discovered methamphetamine and a syringe.
Unger was arrested and charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance. APD continues to investigate Unger’s connection to the burglaries.
