A former Corpus Christi Independent School District teacher is taking a plea deal on charges of having an improper relationship with a student.
Brian Sellers pleaded guilty to six felony charges as part of the plea deal. Four other charges were dismissed Monday afternoon.
In January 2017, Sellers admitted to police that he had sexual contact with a student, who attended Collegiate High School, on several occasions. He provided a video statement to police.
Sellers was sentenced to 60 days in the Nueces County Jail and eight years probation.
