During a recent press conference, President Donald Trump and the President of Poland Andrzej Duda were unified on the topic of liquefied natural gas, better known as LNG.
Poland recently constructed a new pipeline from Norway to Poland to import LNG.
In 2017, the United States sent its first export of LNG to Poland.
That’s just the beginning of a new business relationship.
Trump is excited about the opportunity.
“A tremendous amount of LNG will be exported to Poland,” he said.
With a new Cheniere LNG facility going up in the Portland area, CEO of the Port of Corpus Christi Sean Strawbridge sees this LNG trade as a great opportunity for the Coastal Bend.
