Sunday is Grandparents Day.
On Friday afternoon, the Dr. M.L. Garza-Gonzalez Charter School on Greenwood celebrated by holding a luncheon for their students’ grandparents.
School officials said they know how important grandparents are. So, they wanted to do something special for them.
The grandmothers and grandfathers who attended the event were appreciative and excited to spend sometime with their grandchildren.
