A Robstown woman indicted on voter fraud charges has been sentenced.

Cynthia Kay Gonzalez, 56, today pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor charges of voter fraud related to mail-in ballots from Robstown voters in 2016.

Gonzalez was sentenced to 18 months probation, and will serve five consecutive Saturdays in Jail. She is also prohibited from assisting with any future elections.

Gonzalez is one of three people indicted on the charges. In June, 76-year-old Rosita Torres Flores pleaded guilty to unlawfully assisting a voter. 46-year-old Robert Gonzalez was also indicted. His case is pending.
