CORPUS CHRISTI – Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department wanted to remind the public about their safe exchanges location in the wake of an aggravated robbery incident that sent three men to the hospital.

Two men arrested for aggravated robbery

Senior Officer Travis Pace, with the Corpus Christi Police Department, says, ” We have these locations that are set up for safe transactions.” Pace says you should never agree to meet someone in a place you don’t know your way around.

“These are the types of risks you are taking if you go to an unknown location. Pay attention to your surroundings, trust your instincts,” Officer Pace said.

There are 4 locations in Corpus Christi that are under 24-hour surveillance:

  1. La Retama Central Library
  2. Ben F. McDonald Public Library
  3. Owen R. Hopkins Public Library
  4. Anita & W.T. Neyland Public Library
