CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Great Texas Warrant Roundup is underway.
Sixteen people were arrested over the weekend for failing to take care of outstanding warrants or unpaid fines.
But many people took advantage of the two-week amnesty period that preceded the round-up.
A spokesman for Municipal Court tells us that 3,700 outstanding warrants were cleared during the amnesty period.
The round-up continues through March 13.
But you can still go to Municipal Court and take care of your warrants or fines and avoid arrest.
