The community is rallying behind victims of child abuse and neglect.
For the 10th year, the Children's Advocacy Center of the Coastal Bend has displayed pinwheels out for victims.
This year, the pinwheel display is outside the Gonzalez Building, 5959 South Staples St.
A total of 1,553 pinwheels are on the lawn.
According to officials with CACCB, each pinwheel represents a child who was interviewed in 2019 due to allegations of physical and/or sexual abuse and neglect.
