Local museum toasts 50th anniversary of moon walk with speaker, Moon Pies

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi Museum of Science & History celebrated the moon landing anniversary by lowering the admission price to $1 on Saturday.

It’s called “take a bite out of the moon."

And people were literally doing that as the museum offered Moon Pie snacks along with other moon-themed activities.

Guest speaker Vaughn Hunt who is a former NASA engineer talked about the mission and launch to the moon.
