CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Senior students came together to recognize two of their peers at Moody High School on Tuesday.
The two students have represented the school at the Special Olympics in a number of sports including basketball, bowling, swimming, and track.
In the Letterman jacket award ceremony the senior class awarded the two Special Olympians with Letterman jackets for their competitive athletic skills.
“We're very proud that our seniors recognized their peers and they wanted to make sure,
Since they are Special Olympians that they get Letterman jackets from Moody and so this is a very special." said Assistant Principal Cynthia Reyna.
The Letterman jacket ceremony has been a tradition hosted by each graduating class for the past five years.
