MIAMI — A former Corpus Christi doctor who had violated the terms of his probation is back in custody.
The U.S. Marshals-led Task Force learned that Jaime David Sandoval Araujo was in the country of Panama. Deputies quickly worked with our foreign counterparts and detained Sandoval.
Sandoval was returned to the United States and was arrested by the Miami Police Department, Customs and Border Protection.
“This fugitive was caught because law enforcement agencies worked hard together to make sure Sandovalfaces justice,” Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Al Lujan said.
Sandoval was booked into a Miami jail, and is pending extradition back to Nueces County.
