CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Epic pipeline has built numerous crude oil tanks off of Callicoate Road.

Many residents say no one was informed the crude oil tanks would be built.

Bruce Kates, Communications Director with Epic Pipeline says there might have been a disconnect about the proposed construction.

Epic has tried to make differences to accommodate concerns from the neighborhood.

Such as extra patrol officers on the road and water tanks to decrease dust.

But homeowners say there's more to it than that, like concerns about health and property value.

"A lot of them will want to stay there and some of them are contemplating leaving and if and when the time comes, we'll be ready to sit down with them and talk about what we can do to help them out." says Kate.

Residents in the neighborhood want to see how the next town hall meeting will go which is set for September 19th.

There is a hotline number for residents to call about issues and concerns.
