CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — City of Corpus Christi employees have received a special message on social media.
It came for their boss, Corpus Christi city manager Peter Zanoni.
Here's some of what he told them:
"Today we're facing some of the most unprecedented challenges of our lifetime, but we are all part of a dedicated and powerful team of over 3,000 employees," Zanoni's message said.
"I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your commitment and efforts during this public health emergency. I also want to make sure that you know that the city is here to support your health and your safety."
Zanoni also outlined some of the steps the city is taking to protect its employees from the coronavirus outbreak.
