CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you think you might have the coronavirus, health officials say do not head to the emergency room.
First, you want to reach out to your physician.
Most doctors utilize a telemedicine service where you can discuss the symptoms you're experiencing.
Health experts say taking these precautions not only protect you, but also others.
“A lot of people are saying this just a virus, “I don't know why everybody is making a big deal,’” Rodriguez said. “But if it was just a virus we would not have closed the whole entire country at one time.”
If you have any symptoms of the virus - including high fever, shortness of breath.and a loss of taste and smell - you're advised to self-isolate for more than two weeks.
