CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas Education Agency has released its guidelines to get students back into the classrooms.

Class sizes will be smaller, although the Corpus Christi Independent School District doesn't have that number yet.

But they say that it will be a must to ensure social distancing.

Parents will have the option to send their children to school or assign them to remote learning. Students can go to school for one grading period and then do remote learning for the other grading periods.

We'll gauge reactions from the district, parents and leaders of teachers' organizations during our KRIS 6 News reports at 5, 6 and 10 p.m.
