CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Texas State Aquarium is going virtual. It's all in an effort to help young students continue learning while schools are closed.

Students can log on to the aquarium's Facebook page to learn about every animal living there.

The Aquarium is encouraging students to take part in the 30 minute session on their social media page every morning starting at 11:50.

<Alyce Todd/TSA Director of Education We knew we had this technology available so we knew right away the this would be we could service not only students in Corpus Christi but also all over the world.>

All students in every grade level are welcome to watch.

A new topic will be discussed each day.

Today's topic was flamingos.
