CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The sixth annual "Red Nose Day" special airs tonight right here on KRIS-TV.
But the 2-hour special will be a different type of show this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
It will be a virtual event with celebrity guest participating from their homes.
The annual show was started by "Comic Relief" and has raised more than $200 million to lift kids out of poverty in the United States and around the world.
Some of the celebrities in tonight’s show will include Julia Roberts, Steve Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Smith and James Taylor.
The “Red Nose Day” special starts at 8 p.m. tonight right here on KRIS_TV.
