CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you're planning on taking a flight anytime soon, be prepared for some changes at a TSA checkpoint.

The Transportation Security Administration today out new rules amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Among them, passengers should hang on to boarding passes instead of handing them to officers.

And if a bag does not pass the X-ray screening, passengers may be asked to unpack the bag themselves.

The changes are designed to limit contact between officers and passengers.

These changes have already been implemented at some airports but will be more widespread by next month.
