CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An additional Nueces Co. Employee has tested positive for COVID-19 along with four county employee dependents.
Nueces County reported Saturday that 187 of their employees and their employee's dependents were tested in the Health Department parking lot on Wednesday, June 17.
Of those tested, one Nueces County employee has tested positive for COVID-19. This employee works at the District Clerk’s office. Three results are still pending.
Additionally, four Nueces County employee dependents tested positive for COVID-19 within the results.
The employees in contact with the dependents who tested positive work in the District Attorney's Office, Social Services Office, District Clerk Office, and County Attorney Office.
