CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Easter Sunday is the holiest of days for Christians.
But Governor Abbott's edict about social distancing has ended hopes of congregating with other celebrants.
But one local pastor is trying to get around those rules by hosting Easter Sunday services in the parking lot of his church.
Pastor Matt Gamez of Pursuit City Church on Baldwin is planning a drive-in service Sunday morning with his parishioners.
We'll check with Gamez and learn of his planning and adjusting his church has completed to produce a service like this on Sunday morning.
He plans more services like this as the pandemic continues.
