UPDATE (5:30 p.m.): The Lighthouse for the Blind called back to say it will not have supplies, after all, and will not have items to sell Wednesday.

The South Texas Lighthouse for the Blind will end sales for the day on Tuesday at 5 p.m. They closed at 7 p.m. Monday.

The group's Director of Public Affairs and Development Alana Manrow said they've sold close to 80,000 individual rolls since they began making hand sanitizer, toilet paper and other cleaning products available to the public Monday morning.

Manrow said they are closing early Tuesday in order to re-stock, and will re-open Wednesday morning at 8 a.m.

They had previously announced they wouldn't be selling tomorrow because they would be out of stock by end-of-day Tuesday, but later called back and said they are expecting a new shipment in time to continue sales Wednesday.

manrow said by the time they close at 5 p.m., they will have sold over 700 cases by the end of the day, and each case contains anywhere from 80-96 rolls of individual toilet paper.

Those needing supplies can buy them at Corpus Christi Distributors at 210 McBride Lane.
