CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — According to the latest figures from the state health department, there are now 715 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Texas.

I was able to speak with Gov. Greg Abbott earlier tonight. He stressed the major role we all play in controlling the spread of this virus.

“It is necessary, everyone watching this program right now, comply with our standards. make sure that you are practicing good distancing practices,” Abbott said.

“You have to make sure you do your part to stop the spread, otherwise the United States and the State of Texas will be required to impose stricter standards.”
