Friday night was graduation night for some area high school seniors after a long, strange senior year.
“A lot of schools chose to (have) virtual graduations,” said Flour Bluff High School Principal James Crenshaw. “A lot of schools chose to split their class in half for graduation. A lot of schools chose to have a drive-thru graduation. We are not a lot of schools.”
Social distancing was in effect as the seniors held their ceremony at Hornet Stadium due to COVID-19 concerns.
These students were thrilled to finally be able to take part in the right of passage.
