CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Fireworks stands have opened and this year, they're making some adjustments because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The operator of a fireworks stand on Farm Road 43 has marked off a line 6 feet from his stand.

Customers will have to stand behind that line until they're ready to make a purchase.

A spitguard has also been set up to protect the vendors.

“You can come in your mask, that would be wonderful to as well,” stand operator Jacob Gonzalez said. “We got hand sanitizer if you need it, other than that everybody just do you part and stay apart.”

Employees of this fireworks stand will also be wearing gloves and masks.

They ask that customers also wear their masks.
