CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — While many businesses reopened, there’s no change at the Nueces County Courthouse

The courthouse is open, but most windows and counters are still closed to customers.

The county plans to install barriers at those counters and they won’t reopen until the materials are in and the barriers are built.

Officials ask that people continue to use online methods instead of coming to the courthouse.

Plans are also in the works to bring county employees back to their offices as well as new procedures for jury duty.

The county expects to release more details next week.
