CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — As some states begin to ease restrictions on the closure of local businesses, Chick-fil-A says they are going to take additional time to review their operations.
Company officials confirmed they are not going to be opening their dining areas on Friday.
Gov. Greg Abbott announced Monday that his stay-at-home order, which he issued earlier this month over COVID-19 concerns, will expire as scheduled on Thursday.
In a news statement posted online, Chick-fil-A stated, "In the meantime, you can still enjoy Chick-fil-A through our drive-thru, curbside pick-up and delivery, and you can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through our mobile app. Read more about our efforts to prioritize health and safety during COVID-19."
