CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A website tracking the number of COVID-19 cases among Corpus Christi Independent School District students and staff shows the district has had more than over one hundred students test positive for COVID-19 after being on their campuses, and in their facilities, since Sept. 8.
The district's COVID-19 self-reporting webpage shows 60 staff members, and 105 students, have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Thirty-eight staff members and 64 students have reportedly recovered from the virus.
In a statement posted on its website, the school district states , "Notice of test-confirmed cases among on-campus students or staff will be communicated via letter to all staff and families of that campus."
