CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The spike in COVID-19 cases is not stopping people from hitting the beach.
We spoke to some beach goers who told us that they're staying safe.
"You definitely have to be careful," said Lily McPherson. "It's a little scary being with so many people but I've been taking as many precautions as I can out here."
"Well it is something to be concerned with and that's why we are watching that we're not gonna get neighbors too close," said Chris Billings. "But people are pretty much doing what they are supposed to."
